About the role:

What You'll Do

• Own and lead development of backend components within our Autonomous Hacking platform
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cybersecurity research teams
• Mentor other developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
• Work with modern technologies: Java, Python, MongoDB, Flink, Docker, AWS, RabbitMQ, and more
• Own features from concept to production: From design, through development, to production

• 6+ years of software development experience, including hands-on coding in Java or Python
• 2+ years in a leadership or leadership-adjacent role (team lead, scrum master, technical lead, etc..) — ideally in a mid-sized company
• Someone who’s naturally seen as a technical authority — others turn to you for guidance
• Strong experience building scalable microservices, using technologies like Spring Boot, Flask, AWS, RabbitMQ, Docker, MongoDB, etc.
  
  

• Hands-on experience solving performance and optimization challenges
• Startup background — you thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
• A strong work ethic and passion for pushing things forward
• End-to-end responsibility: managing projects from architecture to delivery, including technical decision-making
• Great interpersonal skills — someone who can lead through collaboration and navigate tough conversations
