Controller

Viola Credit is looking for a resourceful, independent, thorough, and qualified Controller to join our finance team at Viola Credit, a fast-growing, leading private debt fund. The controller will be responsible for the fund’s financial operations, including cash flow management, accounting, forecasting, investor monitoring, and portfolio operations, ensuring high standards of accuracy and timely delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Cash and liquidity management – including portfolio cash flows (investments, repayments), investors cash flows, bank credit lines etc.
• Revenue and deployment forecasting and monitoring
• Financial and business KPIs modeling and monitoring.
• Work and coordinate with the fund’s external auditors.
• Accounting and tax – preparation of financial statements and tax
• Lead projects and ad-hoc financial tasks and processes.
• Investors monitoring, reporting and communication – commitments, capital calls, distributions, quarterly reports, performance calculations.
• Regulation and compliance reporting – including FATCA, CRS.
• Management of portfolio operations.
• Management of equity components and valuations (shares and warrants).

What We Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA – Mandatory
• 2-3 years of audit experience from an accounting firm (big 4) – Mandatory
• 2-3 years of experience as a controller – Mandatory
• Proficient in Excel.
• Fluent in English (Verbal and written)
• Understanding of Debt Instruments - An advantage.
• High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, resourceful, independent, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner, executor, organized, responsible, and personally dedicated to accomplishing objectives and meeting deadlines.
• Strong independent skills, a multi-tasking demanding role who thrive under pressure and in a dynamic work environment.
