Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Cloud Alliance Manager with a strong background in AWS (Azure experience is a plus) to drive our cloud partnership initiatives. This role blends business development with technical coordination. You will nurture and expand strategic relationships with cloud providers, engage with key industry contacts, attend influential events, and deliver actionable insights that translate into tangible business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and strengthen strategic relationships with AWS and Azure.
• Identify and create new business opportunities that drive growth and profitability.
• Develop tailored partnership strategies to ensure cloud engagements contribute to the company’s overall success.
• Understand the key technical processes related to cloud partnerships—such as achieving competency status or integrating within a marketplace.
• Identify and engage the right technical experts (internal or external) to support integration requirements.
• Act as the liaison between business goals and technical execution, ensuring seamless implementation of technical solutions.
• Actively engage with cloud provider representatives (e.g., Partner Development Managers at AWS) to stay informed of upcoming events, initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
• Attend and represent the company at cloud provider events and forums, bringing back actionable insights and trends.
• Proactively advise on and execute necessary actions to capitalize on cloud partnership benefits, including ensuring the company receives appropriate benefits or returns.
• Establish and nurture a network of technical and business contacts within the cloud ecosystem.
• Define clear project deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Continuously assess and refine current partnership models to optimize performance.
• Establish procedures, best practices, and documentation for the new partnership framework.
• Work closely with various internal teams, with the potential to eventually lead a dedicated team or manage external specialists.
• Become a key contributor in one of the most influential areas of the company, directly impacting overall business success.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience and proven track record in developing and managing AWS partnerships.
• Familiarity with Azure is a significant advantage.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in building partnership strategies from scratch.
• Proven ability to work across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strategic, results-driven mindset with strong project management skills.
• Ability to understand technical integration processes and identify the right technical contacts to support execution.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to actively engage with cloud provider representatives, attend events, and manage actionable cloud alliance initiatives.
