Head of IT - Large Forex Company | Central Israel

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead our technology operations for a large, globally recognized Forex company based in Central Israel. This is a senior-level position requiring a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing IT infrastructure, security, and technology initiatives across our worldwide offices.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the company’s global IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and security compliance.

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Lead and mentor an IT team, including system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity professionals.

Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of IT systems, networks, and cloud-based platforms.

Collaborate with other departments to support business growth, optimize workflows, and enhance technology-driven efficiency.

Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.

Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive financial data and prevent potential threats.

Oversee IT budgets, procurement, and cost optimization.

Stay updated on the latest technological trends and innovations relevant to the Forex industry.

Requirements

Proven experience as Head of IT, IT Director, or similar senior role in the Forex industry (mandatory).

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop IT teams.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.

Experience in regulatory compliance and IT security frameworks within financial institutions.

Hands-on experience with trading platforms, CRM systems, and data security protocols.

Ability to develop and execute IT strategies supporting business objectives.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English; Hebrew is an advantage.
