We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build scalable data pipelines and backend systems that power our AI-driven product. If you're a Python expert with big data and cloud experience who thrives in fast-paced environments — let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using Apache Spark and Python.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python-based frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment processes and consistent delivery.
• Work with AWS cloud services to design and optimize infrastructure for data processing and storage.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and help define best practices for data engineering.
• (Optional but valuable) Support or collaborate on front-end development tasks, particularly in React.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, with a focus on Python.
• Proven experience with Apache Spark in production environments.
• Strong background in backend development using Python.
• Deep understanding of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, EMR.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline architecture.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes - an advantage.
• Experience with front-end development using React.js - an advantage.
• Previous work in data-centric startups - an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. IaC, monitoring, automation) - an advantage.
