Automation Engineer

Description

SodaStream is hiring an Engineer for the position of Automation Engineer.

Job Description:

• Managing multidisciplinary projects both globally and locally in various fields: robotics, heavy equipment, handling systems, automatic assembly machines precision equipment, and more
• Designing and leading projects from the inisiation phase through all stages until implementation on-site, including overseeing initial runs.
• Approving new machines and integrating them into production.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturing plants, and others.
• Managing subcontractors and leading projects with automation companies both locally and internationally.
• Full-time position with willingness to work extra hours if needed.
  
  

• Relevant education – Mechanical Engineer
• At least 5 years of experience in project management in mechanical engineering
• High level of English – required
• Strong engineering skills – required
• Experience with SolidWorks software
• Knowledge in robotics and pneumatics
• Knowledge of programmable controllers – an advantage
• Familiarity with mechanical design – an advantage
