About the Role
We are looking for a Tier 2 Support Engineer with strong technical and analytical skills to join our team.
This role involves analyzing complex ETL flows, identifying implementation issues, optimizing database query performance, reviewing logs, modifying configurations, investigating code, and providing resolution suggestions for complex issues.
You will collaborate closely with customers, DevOps, R&D, and Product teams to ensure seamless software implementations and efficient problem resolution.
Location & Work Model
- Office Location: Yokneam (North District)
- Work Model: Hybrid (few days per week in the office)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for K2View products by analyzing ETL flows, database performance, logs, configurations, and investigating code to resolve technical issues.
- Distinguish between customer implementation or environmental issues and actual product bugs
- Install, configure, and test software in both test and production environments.
- Perform software upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with end users to resolve problems efficiently.
- Support the implementation of new software products, working alongside DevOps, R&D, and Product teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements.
- Communicate directly with customers, ensuring clear and structured issue handling.
- Maintain and update the product knowledge base, sharing expertise with the team.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Information Systems, Industrial Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in customer support and software development
- Proven experience working with SQL, databases, and performance optimization.
- Independent, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew for customer and internal team interactions.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (Java, C#, C++ & etc. ).
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with identifying and improving slow database queries to enhance performance
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration
- Experience with cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- 1+ years of Kafka hands-on experience.
- 1+years of Cassandra hands-on experience
