The Role

We are seeking a skilled NPI Eng. to join our dynamic team. If you have extensive experience managing NPI projects, procurement of electrical and mechanical parts, and collaborating with global production teams, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Procurement of Electrical and Mechanical Parts:
  
  

Lead procurement for electrical and mechanical components critical to NPI projects. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery to meet project requirements.

• Collaboration with NPI Production Lines (Including Abroad, Preferably East):
  
  

Work closely with internal teams and international NPI production lines, primarily in the East, to facilitate smooth integration of new components and production processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain project timelines.

• Define New Parts and 2nd Sources:
  
  

Identify and define new parts necessary for NPI projects, ensuring compatibility with existing product designs. Source secondary suppliers and alternate components to reduce supply chain risks.

• Manage NPI Warehouse:
  
  

Oversee and manage the NPI warehouse, ensuring proper storage, tracking, and accessibility of parts. Work closely with logistics teams to ensure inventory control and efficient material handling.

• ERP System Management:
  
  

Utilize ERP systems to track procurement processes, manage inventory, and monitor NPI project timelines.

• Technical and Business Skills:
  
  

Leverage your technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts balance technical expertise with strong business acumen to meet both operational and strategic goals.

• Global Collaboration and Project Management:
  
  

Ensure coordination across teams and stakeholders, both locally and internationally, to guarantee the successful execution of NPI projects. Manage timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in NPI project management, procurement, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Strong experience working with electrical and mechanical components in an NPI setting.
• Experience working with international production teams, particularly in the East, is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for procurement and project tracking.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including supply chain, R&D, and production.
• Solid technical knowledge of product design, parts procurement, and production line processes.
• Proven experience in vendor negotiations, inventory management, and global logistics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an ability to work under pressure.
• Business proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong service orientation and collaboration skills.
