Configuration Management Engineer

Position: Configuration Management Engineer

Job Description:

• Definition and characterization of tools and processes to improve the work environment in the field of Configuration Management.
• Providing support to systems engineers on product configuration management aspects within projects.
• Assisting developers in mechanical, electronic, electrical, and software engineering with configuration management practices.
• Defining and characterizing interfaces between configuration management tools and system-level operational environments.
• Managing configuration management software at the System Admin level.
• Supporting software developers throughout the development process with software configuration management tools (SVN, CLEAR CASE, TFS).
• Assisting developers in adapting tools to enhance the work environment.
• Supporting the execution of freeze procedures and release processes.
• Defining and enforcing configuration management procedures, including software configuration management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or engineering diploma in Science/Engineering/Software fields.
• Proven experience in Configuration Management – required.
• Preference for candidates with experience in software, hardware, and firmware.
• Advantage for candidates with experience in supporting the execution of freeze procedures and release processes.
• Fluent in both English and Hebrew.
• Security clearance level 1 – an advantage.
