Global Finance Associate /Assistant Controller

We are a global consumer goods company specializing in innovative products for parents & children. As we keep growing, we seek an Assistant Controller to join our team in Herzliya.

As an Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for the accuracy of financial reports, analyzing financial results, and assisting with financial forecasting. The ideal candidate is a CPA with business acumen skills who is self-motivated and proactive.

This is a maternity leave replacement role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results of the group
• Lead the preparation of the global monthly closing process and report to management
• Work with external advisors on accounting, tax, and other financial matters
• Oversee financial reporting of subsidiaries and related companies
• Support preparation of global forecasts and financial planning
• Provide support to auditors during annual audits
• Ensure all accounting practices comply with legal guidelines and accounting principles
• Assist with financial aspects of M&A transactions
• Assist with transfer pricing implementation and complex international taxation issues
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• CPA with a minimum of 2 years experience (including internship) – MUST
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English – MUST
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Big 4 accounting firm experience – an advantage
• NetSuite experience – an advantage
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Willingness to travel abroad
