Software Quality Engineering Internship - Windows Virtualization (Ra'anana, Israel)

Job Summary

The Red Hat Virtualization team is looking for an Interna highly motivated student who can join us in the Raanana office and who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on Red Hat's Virtualization stack technologies with a focus on Red Hat’s virtualized solution, associated system components that support the needs of operating WIndows VMs, you will develop and execute test automation against Red Hat's product offerings, and contribute to the virtio-win drivers’ development.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Learn Red Hat's virtualization stack and virtualization solutions
• Execute test automation of Virtualization product, investigate on failures and debugging issues
• Research, develop, and implement test automation tools and frameworks
• Collaborate and contribute to upstream virtio-win communities, testing or fixing issues
  
  

Required Skills

• Familiar with Linux operating systems.
• Good programming/scripting skills with Python or similar.
• Interest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of virtualization (KVM, QEMU, libvirt, cloud or container and similar) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027
• Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
