Software Engineering Internship - Cloud infrastructure and monitoring (Raanana, Israel)

Job Summary

The Red Hat Konflux infrastructure team is looking for an Intern interested in Cloud Service Infrastructure and performance to join us in Ra’anana, Israel. Our organisation works on a Secure Supply Chain solution called Konflux (find out about Konflux upstream here). In this role, you will work with us on infrastructure as a code. You will learn about secure supply chain problems and how to solve them. You will help with cluster management, learn how to configure networks between different cluster providers, how provisioning of VMs works for multi-arch builds and how to monitor and manage multiple service applications.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies used in large-scale service infrastructure and a chance to peek into the platform engineering field.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Working on innovation and improvements in existing monitoring systems
• Monitoring of large scale applications and addressing anomalies
• Automation - writing infrastructure as a code for cloud service applications
• Analyzing performance and working on service optimization - network performance and stability
  
  

Required Skills

• Experience programming in Python, Golang is a plus
• Experience with linux system
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and microservices architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027
• Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
  
  

Nice to have (what you will learn on the job):

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
• Familiarity with building & debugging applications on Kubernetes clusters
• Familiarity with Terraform and ArgoCD
