Software Quality Engineer Internship - Trusted Profile Analyzer (Ra'anana, Israel)

Job Summary

The Red Hat Trusted Profile Analyzer team is looking for an Intern with some experience in JavaScript/TypeScript to join us in the Raanana office. In this role, you will work closely with experienced quality engineers to contribute to the automated testing of our product. You will assist in developing and maintaining automated test suites, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the Trusted Profile Analyzer. As part of this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with modern development tools and workflows, including Rust, JavaScript, GitHub, Jira, AWS, and OpenShift. This long-term internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about Red Hat’s engineering practices and expand your skills in cloud-native product development and automated testing.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the testing of the Trusted Profile Analyzer product, ensuring functionality and performance meet quality standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases to improve test coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with quality engineers and developers to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Assist in enhancing the automated testing framework using JavaScript/TypeScript and other modern tools.
• Contribute to the overall quality of our offerings by validating new features, improving test processes, and supporting continuous integration workflows.
• Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.
  
  

Required Skills

• Programming languages JavaScript/TypeScript with 1-2 years of experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD, AWS and OpenShift is a plus
• Ability to work in a remote environment with people across the globe
• Prior participation in open source software projects is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027
• Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
