Optical engineer, Full-time, Monthly Salary + Equity (options)

Job Description:

The employee will master the current Hypervision state of the art optical, electro-optical and opto-mechanical technology and is expected to contribute to its further customization and development. The work will be done under supervision of experienced Optical and System designers, an opportunity to learn to innovate out of the box.

Essential Requirements:

• At least BSc in Optics or Engineering with specialization in optical design (MSc and PhDs are more than welcome).
• Familiarity with optical design software (Zemax, CodeV, ASAP, etc.)
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
• Programming skills in Python (or other scripting language with ability learn Python fast)
• Self-learner, fast-learner and detail oriented
• Hands-on experience in the laboratory, building and aligning optical setups

Advantageous skills:

• Experience with opto-mechanical design and knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience with thin film optical coatings like AR, 50/50 mirror
• Experience with polarization control components
• Experience in Electronics and PCB design
• Passion for the world of Virtual Reality
