Backend Team Lead

Now, we’re rebuilding. And we’re looking for a Data Engineering Team Lead who doesn’t want to babysit legacy systems—but wants to architect next-gen platforms, scale them to millions of records, and leave their fingerprint on something real.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Own:

• Total end-to-end responsibility for our data systems: ingestion, processing, business logic, scale, and performance.
• Architect our new data platform—make bold decisions to support both horizontal & vertical scaling, balancing performance, reliability, and cost.
• Build from scratch the infrastructure for our advanced analytics platform—laying the groundwork for real-time insights and smarter healthcare decisions.
• Lead & grow a sharp, passionate team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical excellence.

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  
  

• 5+ years hands-on backend development experience, ideally Node.js & AWS (but your architecture skills matter more than your syntax preferences).
• 2+ years managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Deep experience designing large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS systems—you know how to scale, not just technically but cost-effectively.
• A love for tough problems: messy data, real-world constraints, complex business logic.
• Strong communicator, driven by collaboration but confident making bold technical calls.
• A deep sense of ownership—you don’t just deliver features, you own the system.
