Senior Game Artist

Our client, an exciting new crypto gaming venture, are looking for an experienced Senior Game Artist to join their growing team. They're focused on creating magical and immersive gaming experiences for a global audience. Their goal is to build a platform that resonates with millions, providing innovative gameplay and a vibrant community. Backed by a world-class team, they're committed to designing the next generation of engaging gaming experiences.

You'll join a dynamic design team, collaborating closely with product managers and designers. You'll report to the Head of Design, playing a crucial role in shaping the visual identity and marketing strategies. They foster a culture of creative exploration, innovation, and collaboration, where your artistic vision and marketing expertise will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Game Design:

• Conceptualize and create visually stunning art assets for iGaming experiences, primarily slot games, with a focus on character design, background art, symbols, and UI elements.
• Develop detailed art style guides and ensure consistency in visual quality across all game assets.
• Collaborate closely with developers and the design team to ensure the successful implementation and integration of your art.
• Conduct visual reviews and provide feedback to maintain high artistic standards.

Innovation & Research:

• Research and analyze art trends, competitor games' visual styles, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation in iGaming art.
• Experiment with new artistic techniques, styles, and technologies to push the boundaries of what's visually possible in online casino games.

Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Work closely with other artists, designers, and developers to ensure a cohesive and visually engaging player experience.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior artists, fostering their growth and development.

Communication & Presentation:

• Effectively communicate your artistic vision and ideas to stakeholders through presentations, visual documentation, and concept art.
• Advocate for visually compelling design choices and ensure that the artistic quality is at the forefront of all development decisions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in game art, with a proven track record of creating engaging and visually stunning iGaming experiences, particularly slot games.
• Exceptional illustration skills and a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of art styles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Passion for iGaming and a deep appreciation for the visual appeal of online casino games.
• Proficiency with art tools and software relevant to game art (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D software).

Significant Advantage:

• Experience with animation and motion graphics.
• Experience mentoring or leading other game artists.
• Experience with crypto gaming or blockchain technology.
• Experience with user research and playtesting methodologies.
