Job Opportunity: Senior QA Engineer - North Site (Kinneret Area)

We are seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer to join our team and work on testing telecom and cloud-based cellular solutions at . This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to and learn about ORAN wireless technology.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback and implement testing.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and cases for cellular technologies (3GPP specifications).
• Design and build end-to-end test setups.
• Analyze and debug logs from test simulators and systems.
• Resolve issues in end-to-end setups (e.g., UE/mobile, RF/fiber connectivity).
• Reproduce and validate customer-found defects.
• Verify products and applications for functional, stability, performance, and user experience.
• Suggest product improvements to enhance customer experience.
• Recommend and implement automation improvements.
• Review code and design of automation infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of Python, Shell scripting, and preferably Pytest.
• Strong experience with automation framework design and module development.
• Experience with troubleshooting and implementing software applications.
• Familiarity with 5G technologies and 3GPP standards (PHY, MAC, PDCP, RLC, etc.).
• Ability to create and execute test scripts with various test tools (e.g., Azimuth, TM500, Amarisoft).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with LAN/WAN, WLAN, Routing protocols (L2, L3, TCP/IP, QoS).
• Knowledge of Linux/UNIX platforms, virtualization (VMware, KVM), and tools like OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with JIRA and test management tools.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering.
