Artificial Intelligence Engineering Lead

Checksum.ai is hiring an ML / AI Engineering Leader to join the founding team!

We are a well funded, early stage startup led by serial entrepreneurs with over $1B in exits to Salesforce and Microsoft.

Checksum.ai is at the forefront of artificial intelligence, using Generative AI and "classic" ML/DL to autonomously generate full software testing suites based on real user behavior and application analysis. Our AI models learn how to use apps and create realistic and durable tests so engineering teams can move fast.

While generating code with LLMs now seems trivial, getting same results with the necessary awareness to application context is much more complicated.

We are looking for a creative, self motivated and results-driven ML/AI Engineer who will join the founding team to lead the ML efforts towards tackling this one of a kind challenge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other related fields.
• Having a PhD is a plus, but is not as important to us as demonstrating a proven track record of building solutions for real-world problems which met with actual customers.
• 5+ years of experience in developing end to end ML-related software solutions, involving substantial software development (programming) efforts, 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
• 2+ years of professional experience with NLP, 1+ years of professional experience with Large Language Models (LLM)/GenAI technology like OpenAI API, ChatGPT, GPT-4, Bard, Langchain, HuggingFace Transformers, PyTorch and similar, 1+ years of experience with prompt engineering and agent development, 1+ years of experience with vector databases, RAG concepts.
• 1+ years of experience with fine-tuning open source LLMs, familiarity with PEFT, model quantization & optimization techniques such as GPTQ, (Q)LoRA.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure, 2+ years of experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipeline development, containerization, model deployment in test and production environments.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles, including software architecture, API design, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing techniques, exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.
