The Role
We’re seeking a Head of Go-To-Market & Community Growth to take charge of our product’s rollout and early growth. You’ll be the strategic and creative force behind how TripTeam gets discovered, adopted, and loved—both online and in real life.
This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts strategist, community builder, and doer, ready to launch a social platform in a bold new way.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for TripTeam’s group chat and visual features across initial launch cities
- Drive user acquisition through digital campaigns, grassroots activation, and social content
- Launch and manage a TripTeam Creator & Ambassador Program
- Promote TripTeam in relevant forums, online communities, and interest-based platforms
- Write and distribute press releases for product launches and key milestones
- Build strategic partnerships with venues, hostels, student organizations
- Create and execute influencer partnership programs
- Coordinate IRL activations and events that bring TripTeam communities together
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to align marketing efforts with feature rollouts
- Define and track KPIs around growth, retention, and user engagement
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or community roles, in a consumer social or event-driven product
- B2C experience in SW digital platforms is a must for this role
- Demonstrated ability to launch new products or features from the ground up
- Deep understanding of community dynamics, content sharing, and viral loops
- Hands-on experience with grassroots, UGC, or influencer-driven marketing
- Confident writer and communicator—can switch between press releases, chat copy, and creative storytelling
- Experience building strategic partnerships and navigating early-stage brand-building
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and excited to build something from zero to one
