Backend Engineer

Moovex is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our exciting ride in the innovative mobility ecosystem!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, distributed backend systems.
• Implement and maintain event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.
• Work with containerized environments to streamline deployment and scalability.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability by writing unit and end-to-end tests.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance for high-load environments.



What are we looking for

• 4+ years of experience building high-performance, distributed applications using Go, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, Redis Streams, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in writing robust, testable code with unit and end-to-end testing.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and any Google Cloud APIs
• Background in GIS applications, including routing, navigation, and graph-based optimization.
