R&D Team Lead

A leading high-tech product company is looking for a passionate and experienced R&D Team Lead to lead a team of talented Fullstack developers. You’ll be working on large-scale, innovative projects with millions of users, using a modern tech stack including Node.js, React.js, Next.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 Fullstack developers
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support in architecture, design, and coding
• Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Oversee the full development lifecycle – from planning and implementation to deployment and maintenance
• Drive technical excellence and contribute to the overall product and technology vision

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ year of experience in a leadership role with a similar tech stack (Node.js, React.js)
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch – an advantage
• Proven leadership abilities – mentoring, coaching, and empowering team members
• Experience building scalable, cloud-based applications

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• Background in developing high-traffic, performance-critical systems
