Structural Analysis Engineer

The Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to conduct strength and dynamics testing and analysis for complex structures.

What you’ll be doing:

• Performing dynamic and static analyses for various structures and systems.
• Analyzing environmental conditions from project requirements specifications and defining loads.
• Building finite element models (MSC NASTRAN).
• Conducting experiments to validate analyses.
• Analyzing experimental results and deriving technical, mechanical, and system implications.
• Writing summary reports for analyses.
• Analyzing failures and recommending design improvements.
• Supporting mechanical engineers and design approvals.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aeronautics – mandatory.
• 2-5 years of experience performing strength and dynamics analysis using finite element methods, including manual calculations – mandatory.
• Experience with PATRAN, NASTRAN, and APEX software – a significant advantage.
• Experience in performing complex strength and dynamics analysis in the time and frequency domains – an advantage.
• Ability to perform and analyze experiments.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with analysis tools.
• Good level of English – mandatory.
