Head of Finance

The CFO is a senior management position, tasked with managing the Finance department and reporting directly to the CEO.

Main Responsibilities  

• Overseeing and managing the financials of the company including tracking cashflows and monitoring adherence with financial planning including ensuring suppliers and vendors are paid on time and tracking accounts receivable and revenue sources. 
• Creating financial projections and action plans, forecasting, cost–benefit analysis, analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions, and more. 
• Deliver strategic leadership for identifying and defining potential business financial risks to the company and establishing effective processes and infrastructure for mitigating them.  
• Developing collaborative working relationships within the department and the company in pursuit of the of the company’s overall business goals. 
• Reporting and providing regular updates to the CEO (including regulators and other government agencies).  
• Building and managing top tier, high performance specialist teams, including recruiting, mentoring, goal setting and more.  
• Ensuring that ongoing operational functions related to finance are done correctly, on time and in accordance with applicable agreements, credit risk considerations, and compliance requirements.  
• Managing payroll and taxes and preparing various financial reports. 

Required Skills 

• CPA+ Degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Management/Statistics/Mathematics or equivalent professional certification. 
• Proven experience with a successful track record in a finance related senior leadership position (at least 5 years after internship). 
• Demonstrated general management skills in mentoring and directing multi-functional teams, as well as the ability to run projects. 
• High level of  English
• Good decision making and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills including the ability to prioritize and triage assignments. 
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to details. 
• Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines. 
• An ability to analyze market trends and provide data-based advice.
