Data Engineer

A Cyber Breach Readiness startup specializing in Cloud security, developing technology for automated Incident Response to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber breaches while preserving organizational data.

The company is stable, serving Fortune 500 clients, and was recently ranked among the top 20 startups to work for by Dun & Bradstreet.

They have raised $75M and recently closed a Series B round. The company is based in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of a train/light rail station, with a global team of 50 employees, including 30 in Israel, and offers a hybrid model with up to two remote days per week.

Role Overview:

• Part of a data engineering team, developing data pipelines at scale
• Near real-time processing
• Coding in Python, SQL across public cloud environments
• Working with Spark, PySpark, Databricks
• Expertise in PySpark required

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience in cloud-based SaaS environments
• Deep expertise in PySpark, Python, and SQL optimization
• Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud architectures
• Proven track record implementing production-scale data systems
• Extensive experience with distributed computing and big data processing
• Strong collaboration skills and technical communication abilities
