Principal System Engineer - Autonomous Systems

ELTA is looking for a Principal System Engineer to join our mission of developing unmanned & autonomous systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading system engineering for a cutting-edge project integrating unmanned ground and aerial operational platforms with an autonomous mission system.
• Overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from requirement definition through design, development, and final operational deployment.
• Providing matrix leadership to a team of system engineers.
• Leading model-based design processes, design reviews, IPT teams, and participating in field trials.
• Engaging directly with customers and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Aeronautics – mandatory.
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – a significant advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in system engineering for cross-domain technologies, including various sensing modalities (optical, radar, COMINT), and weapon systems – mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering for System-of-Systems environments, including command & control systems, multi-sensor and effector platforms, and communication systems – mandatory.
• High proficiency in English – a must.
• Experience with modeling systems – an advantage.
