About the Fund

We are a newly launched investment fund focused on accelerating and investing in emerging hedge fund managers with equity trading / investing strategies. Our mission is to provide capital, infrastructure, and strategic support to fund managers, enabling them to scale effectively.

As we build out our operations, we are seeking an Accounting & Operations Associate to play a critical role in fund accounting, investment tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact role for a motivated professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Role Overview

The Accounting & Operations Associate will support fund accounting, investment monitoring, and operational execution. This role requires a blend of investment accounting, financial reporting, and operational oversight, working closely with the founders and investment funds.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Accounting & Reporting

• Investment Tracking & Reporting – Maintain records of fund investments, ensuring accuracy in performance reporting, valuation, and risk monitoring.
• Financial & Investor Reporting – Assist with the preparation of financial reports, investor statements, and fund-level performance updates.
• P&L & Risk Monitoring – Perform monitoring of sub-advised investments, tracking P&L, exposure, and risk metrics to ensure adherence to investment guidelines.
• Monthly & Quarterly Close – Create the reporting process to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliations.

Operations & Investment Support

• Investment Diligence & Tracking – Review investment materials from prospective fund investments, including pitch decks, historical performance, and investor letters; input relevant data into tracking systems.
• Meeting & Pipeline Management – Oversee the scheduling and tracking of investment meetings, ensuring updates are recorded in the investment pipeline tracker.
• Due Diligence Coordination – Manage the due diligence process, including requesting and evaluating investment materials, working with external fund managers to assess key data points.
• Investment Execution Oversight – Coordinate investment closings, working with legal, management, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of capital allocations.
• Portfolio Monitoring – Track monthly statements, investment performance data, and capital flows from existing investments, maintaining organized records for reporting and analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, investment operations, or financial reporting within asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or a related investment firm.
• Understanding of investment structures, fund operations, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience working with P&L tracking, risk monitoring, and investment reporting.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and taking ownership of fund processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel with a knowledge of fund accounting software, and investment tracking tools.
