Job Description

The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves conducting market research, developing strategic partnerships, and assisting in the creation of proposals, pitches, and marketing materials to expand the organization’s market presence.

Job Requirements

• Business Growth & Market Expansion
• Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Develop strategies to increase sales, market share, and business profitability.
• Conduct competitor analysis to understand industry trends and market positioning.
• Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Develop customized solutions based on client needs and market demands.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and potential business prospects.
• Proposal Development & Sales Strategy
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services.
• Networking & Partnership Development
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to establish business connections.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in finance, technology, microfinance, or manufacturing
