Experienced Controller Needed for a Leading Company in Tel Aviv

Position Overview:

A leading company in Tel Aviv is seeking an experienced Controller to manage the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting department.
• Provide expert accounting support and develop new processes within the department and across other departments.
• Preparing consolidation files – experience with complex consolidation files is required.
• Generating management reports from the consolidation file.
• Building and analyzing budgets versus actual performance.
• Monthly operational reporting – analyzing key metrics and operational performance.
• Analyzing department profitability across the company.
• Performing transaction reconciliation – analyzing profitability and expenses of transactions.
• Preparing tax reports for Israel and the United States.
• Work in accordance with Israeli standards + US GAAP or IFRS.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department and the company at large.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing professional guidance and support.
• Collaborate with international companies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a Controller role.
• Significant experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Excellent English skills – mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing an accounting team – mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to improve and streamline processes.
• Technologically adept with a willingness to work with advanced systems.
• Strong teamwork skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and effective communication.
