Job Description: IT DEX Technical Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Specialist to proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve IT issues using DEX tool.

This role requires an analytical mindset combined with deep technical expertise across multiple domains.

The ideal candidate will leverage the DEX tool capabilities to identify problems before they impact users, conduct root cause analysis, and develop custom dashboards through advanced SQL scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively monitor the digital employee experience using DEX tool to identify potential issues before they affect productivity

Conduct detailed root cause analysis of complex IT problems across multiple technology domains

Design, build, and maintain custom SQL-based dashboards in DEX tool to monitor system performance and user experience

Develop automated alerting mechanisms for early detection of performance degradation

Analyze trends in system and application performance to recommend improvements

Create comprehensive ation of identified issues and their resolutions

Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to implement preventative measures

Provide technical guidance on optimizing the digital workplace environment

Regularly report on system health metrics and action plans to stakeholders

Technical Skills

DEX tool Expertise: Demonstrated experience with DEX tool or similar DEX platforms

Advanced SQL Scripting: Expert-level SQL skills for custom dashboard development – Must

Windows Administration: In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Group Policy, and system optimization

Active Directory: Strong understanding of AD structure, permissions, and troubleshooting

Networking: Expertise in network protocols, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and understanding network performance impacts

Virtualization: Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and virtualization technologies

Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS applications

PowerShell: Proficiency in automation scripting for Windows environments

Performance Analysis: Experience with system performance monitoring tools and methodologies

Soft Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT operations, preferably in a large enterprise environment – Must

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Excellent ation skills

Ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders

Proactive mindset with the initiative to investigate issues before they escalate

Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

Understanding of user experience metrics and their business impact

Experience with IT analytics and data visualization tools
