Application Engineer - ANCA CNC cutting tools grinder

• Provide tool grinding applications support to European customers
• Complete customer run-off’s at the customer’s site as well as at ANCA Germany or UK as per the schedule with acceptable results
• Completes ANCA’s reporting system such as VCRM on time and as required Accountabilities

Customer Applications

• Operate ANCA application software to manufacture and or re-sharpen tools and cutters to specification for customer tests and machine runoff/acceptance
• Competently demonstrate ANCA machine tool functionality and features to customers with the collaboration of ANCA Agents and Dealers
• Promptly and accurately respond to customer (internal/external) sales queries relating to ANCA machine tool
• Manufacture customer cutters/tools within the defined specification for customer acceptance and within the defined timeframe
• Provide technical inputs in the compilation of sales tenders within the required time frame and to the required standard
• In collaboration with Grinding Centre staff, ensure ANCA machine tools and software is available and operational to the required standard at all times
• Submit timely reports on Customer visits, including new and proposed customer technical development and their defined needs
• Conduct sales visits and support the sale of machines

Sales Support

• In full collaboration with ANCA regional sales staff ensure all software and grinding and tool cutting activities are conducted competently and reliably to maximise the conversion of demonstrations into sales
• Competently and reliably demonstrate ANCA products at international & Regional trade exhibitions
• Competently and reliably demonstrate ANCA products at customer premises and support potential sales.

Quality

• Establish and facilitate quality feed back sessions in order to improve quality audits, installations and warranty of medical installations worldwide
• Participates in the process of continuous improvement by providing concise, complete and accurate quality reports on a timely basis back to HQ
• Review and improve (SWI) and work practices to improve efficiency and product quality

competencies

·      Demonstrated ability to develop and operate software including 3D Simulator

·      Proven ability to operate CNC Grinding machines to produce commercially acceptable cutters & tools

·      Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & sketches.

·      Proven Internal and external customer service and follow up

·      Proven written and interpersonal communication skills – competent and able  to influence customer behaviour and cross-functional relationships

·      Highly Numerate

·      Demonstrated analytical competency in planning, decision-making and issue resolution

·      Applies strong performance measurement focus for analysis & continuous improvement

·      Desktop application advanced skills for spreadsheet and database applications, Microsoft Word, email and Internet

·      Multi lingual with an ability to communicate, write and type in English.
