Storage Specialist (NetApp) for a Leading Financial Company

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled NetApp Storage Specialist to join the infrastructure team of a leading financial company. Our team consists of five top professionals responsible for maintaining and managing critical storage and backup systems. This is a dynamic, challenging role within an enterprise environment, offering exposure to cutting-edge technologies and advanced storage architectures.

• Design, manage, and maintain enterprise storage environments.
• Operate NetApp-based storage solutions (FAS 8300, A400, A900, E-Series, Storage Grid S3).
• Work with additional storage solutions, such as Dell PowerMax and IBM 7300/5030 (an advantage).
• Maintain and manage SAN infrastructure, including Cisco/Brocade switches.
• Collaborate with System, DBA, and Cybersecurity teams to integrate advanced storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex storage-related issues in mission-critical environments.
• Participate in major projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
  

• 3+ years of experience managing and operating enterprise storage environments.
• Deep expertise in NetApp storage solutions – a must.
• Experience with Dell PowerMax / IBM 7300, 5030 – an advantage.
• Familiarity with Linux (RedHat) – an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SAN switches (Cisco/Brocade) – a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in a financial organization – an advantage.
  

• Location: Central Israel (company offices).
• Working hours: Sunday–Thursday, 08:00–17:00.
• Hybrid model: After a six-month onboarding period, remote work will be available for one to two days per week.
• Some off-hours work may be required after the training period for production system maintenance.
