About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure. This role is pivotal in developing new data sources, ensuring data quality, and enhancing system reliability. The ideal candidate will contribute to product innovation, influence platform design, and establish best practices in data engineering.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and efficiency through monitoring and optimization.
• Implement and maintain quality infrastructure to uphold high engineering standards.
• Contribute to feature development and customer-facing product enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues while improving code performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence platform design and architecture.
• Continuously refine data engineering practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including pipeline development, testing, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to optimize query performance and readability.
• Experience working with GCP cloud services (or equivalent cloud platforms).
• Ability to troubleshoot and enhance system reliability and performance.
• A team player with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Experience with some of the following tools: Airflow, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, Rivery, Fivetran, Python, and SQL.
