Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SOGO

Introduction:

SOGO, an innovative early-stage startup, is transforming the surfing industry with pioneering technology. We seek a visionary Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead our technical journey and drive the development of our cutting-edge surf tracking and coaching solutions.

We have already developed a working prototype. 

Responsibilities:

• Technical Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement SOGO's technical vision and strategy to align with business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative environment encouraging innovation and excellence.
• Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of diverse technologies to ensure cohesive and efficient systems.
• Scalability and Robustness: Ensure that all solutions are scalable and robust, meeting the demands of a growing user base.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with product and business teams to align technological advancements with company goals.

Requirements: 

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in software development, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Technical Background: A strong foundation in Machine Learning (ML) engineering or Data Science is essential.
• Specialized Skills: Experience in Computer Vision and hardware-software integration is required.
• Passion for Sports: A passion for sports and outdoor activities is highly desirable; surfing experience is a plus.
