Are you passionate about Engineering and eager to contribute to cutting-edge research? The Project Lab at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tel-Aviv University is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lab Engineer to join our team.

About the Position:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Lab Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Educational endeavors. This is a 100% position. You will be responsible for the operation and management of our two projects lab, fostering an environment of innovation. Mentoring young students in their last year of B.Sc degree.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Cutting-Edge Education: Actively participate in ongoing projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Hardware Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all lab hardware.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols.
• Student Mentorship: Guide, assist, and mentor students in their research projects.
• Hardware Procurement: Manage the procurement of new hardware and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME).
• Proven experience in mechanical design, and 3D printing, (Arduino controllers- advantage).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
