Network Security Engineer

A leading defense company is seeking a Communication and Information Security Specialist

Position includes:

• Implementation and maintenance of cross-organizational projects in the fields of communication and information security
• Responsibility for systems monitoring, control, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communication and cybersecurity products
• Ongoing upgrades and operation of all existing security and communication systems
• Enforcement of information security policies, managing employee permissions and approvals for routine activities
• Work distribution: approximately 70% communication and 30% information security
• Support for project-related and defense systems (weapons and equipment) domains
• Office-based role with occasional fieldwork and potential international travel

What we’re looking for:

• Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, CISO) and networking (CCNA, CCNP) – significant advantage
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and communication systems within mid/enterprise-level organizations – mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience in setup and maintenance of security products such as CHECKPOINT and FORTINET – mandatory
• Strong knowledge and experience in communication and security technologies such as IPS, SSL, NAC, NMS, and VPN setup – mandatory
• Proven knowledge in designing and building L2 & L3 communication networks – mandatory
• Solid familiarity with Cisco equipment; familiarity with Juniper switches – an advantage
• Responsibility, motivation, teamwork capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills are essential
