Senior Product Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Manager with a strong background in product management, cloud infrastructure, and security/networking. This role will be pivotal in pivoting the product management function to be more customer and market-centric, focusing on aligning products with business needs and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud infrastructure, network security/ security protocols, alongside a deep understanding of business strategy, market trends, and customer needs. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams but will have a strong focus on the business side, driving alignment with organizational goals and customer-centric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the overall product strategy, ensuring it aligns with customer needs, market demands, and business goals. Shift focus from a purely technical approach to a more market-driven, customer-centric mindset.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, business, and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination of resources, timelines, and deliverables, with a focus on creating value for customers and stakeholders.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Security Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, network security, and security protocols to define product requirements and ensure the product meets both technical and business needs.
• Customer & Market Focus: Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points, market trends, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions and ensure the product delivers on market expectations.
• **Program & Product Execution: Ensure the successful delivery of programs and products on time, within scope, and within budget, adapting strategies as necessary to meet evolving business and customer needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, market feedback, and strategic shifts.
• GTM Strategy: Lead the development of Go-To-Market strategies for cloud-related products, ensuring that market positioning, pricing, and distribution are aligned with customer and business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze product performance, gather customer feedback, and implement lessons learned to drive product and process improvements.
• Risk Management: Identify risks that may impact the product's success in the market, particularly those related to security and networking, and collaborate with relevant teams to proactively address these challenges.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field (MBA or Master's degree is a plus).
• Extensive experience in product management, especially with a focus on cloud infrastructure, network security/ security protocols.
• Strong understanding of customer and market-centric product development, with a proven ability to pivot PM strategies to meet customer needs and business goals.
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, network security, and cloud GTM, with an ability to understand security and networking risks and their impact on product success.
• Proven ability to collaborate with R&D teams while maintaining a strong focus on business and customer outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive solutions to complex challenges.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of interacting with senior leadership, product teams, and external partners.
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of how product management and cloud infrastructure align with broader business strategy.
• PMP, PgMP, or other relevant product management certifications are a plus.
