IT and Security Operations Engineer (Israel)

About The Role

We are looking for a talented, full-time IT and Security Operations Engineer to help us keep our fleet of devices and networks secure and our office work environment efficient and organized.

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Evaluate and integrate new IT and security technologies to enhance our infrastructure.
• Harden systems and applications based on best practice security standards.
• Manage, and monitor existing and new IT infrastructure and security tools (EDR, Azure Active Directory, Okta, SIEM, Google, and more)
• Responding promptly to IT and security incidents, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
• Create and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.
• Work with other departments to implement secure and efficient solutions.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Managing Zota’s network infrastructure and security around our office locations, both on-site and remotely.
• Provide help desk support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ensure all systems are patched and up to date.
• Proven experience in IT security and systems management.
• Strong understanding of EDR and SIEM technologies.
• Experience with Okta or other IAM solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Google Workspace administration.
• Knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, subnetting, network protocols, intrusion detection, and prevention).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and implementation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Strong understanding of all operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with scripting languages like Powershell or Python.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
