Senior System Engineer for a deep technology startup

We are looking for a highly experienced and passionate Senior System Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary cutting-edge robotic technology startup, following a significant fundraising round.

Your main task will be to ensure smooth integration and the seamless operation of a multidisciplinary system - Physics, Mechanics, Materials –

and solve complex challenges that have the potential to make a significant impact in the relevant industry worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, investigate, and resolve system-related issues
• Develop and implement practical, pragmatic solutions to complex technical problems
• Proactively identify potential future challenges and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct in-depth analysis of system performance and propose improvements
• Liaise between different technological domains and stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient problem-solving
• Document technical processes, solutions, and best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Physics
• 15-20 years of experience working with complex systems in a deep tech environment, including multi-disciplinary system integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to complex problems
• Detail and result oriented
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills / Solidworks / Comsol
