What will you do in SuperPlay?:

Server Team Leader Job Description

As a leader of the server development team, you'll be responsible for designing and building backend systems and game features. This includes everything from databases to server logic, network communication, client-backend logic, and more. You’ll work closely with other developers and designers to meet the demands of the fast-paced mobile games industry. If you are an experienced and self-taught person who is willing to pursue technical challenges in the course of developing gaming server systems, then this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the server development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems for mobile games.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, client developers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality game features.
• Ensure backend systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, from technical design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor production performance and proactively respond to any anomalies discovered by our NOC team, ensuring minimal disruption to live services.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote best practices for server-side development.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  
  

• A natural leader with experience of 2+ years in leading a development team
• Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks and projects
• 5+ years experience with DotNet 3 or above
• Experience with Networking
• Experience with Async programming
• Experience in SQL, DDL, query planning, and general DB architecture.
• Experience with Caching systems.
• Experience working with Redis.
• Experience working with MySQL.
• Experience working with ElasticSearch.
• Experience working/developing for the Linux platform
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience working with Git and GitHub.
• Good English level (both verbal and written)

• Advantage, experience on a mobile game with a strong server component
