Security Researcher

I'm recruiting a talented and experienced Web Security Researcher to join a highly skilled team at a company that works with governmental clients and contributes significantly to global crime prevention.

What will you do?

In this role, you'll conduct in-depth research to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in web applications. You’ll work closely with the security team to develop innovative methodologies for vulnerability discovery, provide expert analysis of identified issues, and assist in developing proof-of-concept demonstrations. The position involves leading the research process end-to-end—from understanding client needs, through hands-on research, to delivering actionable findings. You’ll also be expected to produce detailed reports and stay up-to-date with evolving trends in web security.

What do you need?

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security Researcher, including at least 2 years specifically focused on web security
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python
• Strong understanding of data communication and network protocols
• Experience with tools like Fiddler, mitmproxy, Burp Suite, DevTools, and Wireshark
• Deep familiarity with security and privacy mechanisms in modern web browsers
• Understanding of OPSEC (Operations Security) principles
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and analytics
• Curiosity and a passion for staying up to date with the latest in the web ecosystem
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions
• Proven independence in leading research from ideation through execution and reporting

Advantages:

• Experience with reversing and instrumentation techniques
• Familiarity with tools like Frida, JADX, JEB, and ADB for mobile app decompilation and debugging
• Participation in CTFs or Bug Bounty programs
