The Role: We are seeking an exceptionally talented Researcher/Scientist to join our team.

In the role, you will work on critical aspects of WorldQuant’s research, modeling, and infrastructure, including risk models, market impact models, trade optimization, and the firm’s central hedging facility.

What You’ll Bring

• 5 years of hands-on experience
• Knowledge of Python (including NumPy) and Linux/Unix platforms; familiarity with scripting languages
• Code optimization experience is a plus
• Possesses hybrid skillset with strong quantitative and coding abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written form
• Mature and thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
• Motivated by the transformational effects of technology-at-scale
• Experience in finance is a plus but not required
