Be part of making a critical difference

As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal reliability and availability of Akamai's critical security products. This includes continuously improving monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation processes. You will design and develop tools to enhance these capabilities while collaborating with cutting-edge technologies

As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of professionals, including 24/7 on-call shifts in multiple locations
• Being responsible for monitoring and building the tools and automation for O11y and production resilience.
• Developing automation infrastructure and increase coverage of alerts procedures
• Collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure health of the different components
• Tracking SRE plans during meetings with diverse engineering technical leads and managers
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 3 years experience in leading teams of SRE or Devops and a B.Sc. in Computer Science,or related field
• Demonstrate a proven ability to design and implement a comprehensive monitoring and observability strategy for complex software products
• Have prior experience of defining and implementing framework and tools
• Have experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Third Party clouds (AWS, Azure, Linode, etc.)
• Have experience working on Linux based infrastructure, Bash/Python
• Have exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across network, system, application, and database layers
