Akamai is looking for a security researcher to help increase the value of the API Security product. Huge customers use Akamai's API security product to protect against attacks that exploit vulnerabilities and threats in their APIs.

Responsibilities

We provide clients with comprehensive API discovery, insights into anomalous activities, and protection against potential attacks. Our core team is central to demonstrating the security value of the product by tackling its most complex and critical cyber algorithms and leveraging in-depth data research to drive innovation and excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting in-depth research on customer traffic to inform strategic architectural decisions.
• Designing and implementing sophisticated algorithms to address groundbreaking challenges.
• Owning and driving end-to-end solutions for core and complex cybersecurity problems.

To be successful in this role you will:

• 3 years of cyber security research.
• Experience with web hacking techniques.
• 2 years of Python development.
• Ability to take ownership and execute tasks end-to-end
