We use Data Science and massive amounts of Akamai network traffic data to enhance the threat intelligence that is used in multiple Akamai products. Our customers include network operators and enterprises.

Akamai is transforming how enterprises protect data centers and clouds from evolving threats. We seek a Data Analysis and Quality Lead to enhance AI/ML data reliability for leading organizations. This role supervises data analysts and quality teams while collaborating with AI researchers and ML engineers. Ideal candidates have expertise in data analytics, AI validation, and security-focused solutions.

In This Role You Will Be

• Hiring, building, and mentoring data analysts and quality professionals.
• Developing data frameworks, validation procedures, and best practices.
• Monitoring data integrity and accuracy across sources, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Designing dashboards and analytics solutions to guide decisions.
• Implementing automation for validation and quality control.
• Conducting root cause analyses and recommending improvements, while staying updated on industry advances.
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Have experience with data analysis or quality assurance for security applications, including 5+ years in relevant roles.
• Have at least two years in a leadership or team management capacity.
• Have experience using SQL, Python, or related tools, data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Have the ability to address complex problems, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
