Join our Adversarial Threat Research Team!

As a Researcher will be a member of Akamai's BMP research team. You'll be responsible for maintaining the defensive protections of Web Application & Bot Management security products.

Our products based on Akamai's unparalleled big data platform that stores Petabytes of data, from visibility into as much as 30% of all Internet traffic.

As a Researcher, you will be responsible of monitoring the threat landscape, dissecting technological developments and providing intelligence reports regarding our adversaries. Your findings and recommendations will impact the short and long-term roadmap of our Bot Manager product, touching hundreds of customers and millions of clients every day.

As a Security Researcher, You Will Be Responsible For

• Building and maintaining automation for intelligence efforts.
• Conducting data-driven research on new features and infrastructure to determine their value and optimize their usage effectively.
• Identifying new standards and technologies that could impact our security products' accuracy.
• Identifying, collect and analyze adversaries/ tools/ bypasses from a wide range of sources.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge base of threats, vulnerabilities and attack vectors relevant to Akamai's BMP products.
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven professional experience in the intelligence world with the ability to create reports.
• Have 2+ years of experience in web application security field.
• Have proven experience in data-driven research, SQL, Pandas, ElasticSearch, and Jupyter Notebook, with expertise in these areas.
• Have proven experience in web-related and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc).
