Our program management team partners with Product Management and Engineering. They own and drive the innovation of our Enterprise Security Products for our customers. Dedicated to our flagship Security products.

Oversight of the whole product lifecycle and the delivery of key strategic programs.

Shape the success of projects

Leading the cross-functional alignment of the whole product lifecycles. You will manage multiple complex projects and direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver against key business goals successfully. In this high-impact, mostly self sufficient role, your contribution will be critical to the team's success and Akamai's business.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Execution of multiple projects and programs.
• Communicating, tracking, and reporting on program status and areas of risk/opportunity.
• Processing dependencies and success metrics to senior internal stakeholders.
• Working with Senior Product Line and Engineering Leadership.
• Understanding priorities, drive accountability, and propose innovative and logical programs and solutions
• Adopting best-practice guidelines to influencing and implement continuous improvements to the processes
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have +5 years of project technical management experience
• Have an excellent knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Jira/Confluence
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have experience of leadership
• Experience in working and managing within a matrixed organization (cultures, senior leadership, and time zones)
• Think strategically and be able to dive into technical aspects quickly
• Be a people person, energetic, curious, a team player and problem solving skills
