The opportunity

Join Supersonic’s new games department as a Product Designer with Market Research Expertise, where you'll help shape the next hybrid-casual hits by blending creative design with data-driven insights. In the short term, you'll analyze market trends and evaluate game concepts, while long-term success means designing engaging, high-performing games that align with player demand. Your impact will drive smarter concept selection, faster iteration, and stronger monetization strategies. This role offers hands-on experience with top-tier publishing, exposure to industry-leading analytics, and the chance to launch games played by millions.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Product Designer with Market Research Expertise at Supersonic, you’ll play a key role in identifying and shaping winning game concepts. Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing market trends, competitor games, and player behaviors to identify high-potential game ideas.
Designing and iterating on core gameplay, balancing mechanics, and optimizing engagement based on data insights.
Collaborating with developers, artists, and UA teams to refine prototypes and improve marketability.
Conducting A/B tests and evaluating early performance metrics to inform design decisions.
Providing clear recommendations on concept validation, monetization strategies, and feature improvements.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Product Designer with Market Research Expertise who can blend creative design with data-driven decision-making. You should have:
Strong game design skills, including core loop development, balancing, and player engagement optimization.
Proven ability to analyze market trends, competitor games, and player behaviors to identify high-potential concepts.
Experience with prototyping and iteration using Unity or other game engines.
Proficiency in data analysis, A/B testing, and using insights to refine gameplay and monetization.
Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
