Position: Senior SW embedded lead

• Strong SW professional, with good understanding of SW development methodologies, engineering tradeoffs and prioritization
• Strong SW professional with at least 10 years of experience working on complex SW projects, developing in C, C++ or similar
• At least 2 years of experience managing SW teams
• Great interpersonal skills, with the ability and desire to create and uphold a large, productive professional network
• Ability to learn fast, move fast and adapt

Tabor Electronics develops high end RF testing equipment and special RF solutions. located in Nesher, Haifa discrete in Israel. This role will be on-site

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• Lead a team of developers through the product lifecycle: architecture, design, validation, documentation, quality and deployment
• Grow and coach the team members
• Hands-on development of features
• Support product and customer support teams with engineering capabilities to determine root cause, corrective action and see it through to production
• Work in collaboration with other teams, HW, developers and quality assurance team
• Work with product owners and business analysts to understand requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-recognized University
• 8-10 years of experience in SW/FW development with C, C++, C#
• 2-3 years of software management experience
• Experience with networking protocols like: I2C, SPI, USB, UART, Ethernet, etc
• Working in Agile/Scrum methodologies – scrum master an advantage
• Proficient understanding of code versioning, automated builds & CI/CD processes.
• A proven ability to design and execute end-to-end solutions, as a part of a complex technological system
• Ability to work in a dynamic and ongoing changing environment
• Proficiency working under Linux and Windows OS
• Test methodologies, frameworks (Unit-Tests, Integration tests)
