BI & Data Team Lead

Description

SodaStream is looking for a BI & Data Team Leader to join our global industrial company and lead our data and analytics initiatives.

This role involves managing a team of employees and contractors, overseeing the development and maintenance of data solutions, and ensuring the effective use of BI tools and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of BI and data professionals, including both in-house employees and external contractors.
• Define and manage the team’s work plan, ensuring efficient prioritization and execution of tasks
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions and data pipelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability to support business decision-making.
• Manage and optimize the company's data infrastructure, leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, QlikSense, Rivery, and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Define best practices and governance standards for data management and BI reporting.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements in data processes.
  
  

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience leading a BI/Data team in a global or industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, QlikSense, Rivery, and ADF.
• Hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience in planning and managing a team’s work plan and priorities.
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across different teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
