MLOps Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced, creative and impact-oriented engineer to own the infrastructure and tools we use to develop our Large Language Models.

You will work on cutting-edge technologies and ambitious projects in a fast-paced environment, all aimed at improving the velocity and efficiency of our development processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Enable the full lifecycle of model development, from data ingestion to model training and ML experiment tracking.
• Build infrastructure, tools, and processes that support scale, speed, and quality across the team.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, engineers, and DevOps teams to design and execute our ML infrastructure roadmap.
• Establish and enforce methodologies and best practices within the team.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices in MLOps and DevOps, and integrate them into our ML infrastructure to maintain a competitive edge.
• Serve as a domain expert and mentor within the team, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience leading a technical team.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an MLOps/Platform Engineer/Infrastructure or Core Backend Engineer.
• Proven expertise in data processing libraries, workflow management frameworks, and ML frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid background in working with SQL, NoSQL, and data warehouse technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
  
  

• Experience designing and implementing distributed ML workflows.
• Deep understanding of parallel and distributed computing paradigms.
